I heart NYC

I'm in Manhattan covering the Pope's visit. This is just on the heels of non-stop coverage in DC. It's a pretty interesting, historically significant event to cover, so while I remain fatigued, I'm happy to be working on it. And NYC is always fun -- I just wish there was time to actually experience some of it for pleasure, not just for work. I did get to see an old friend from the Greensboro days last night, which was really nice. I'll have to come back again when I can spend more time. I feel like I've never really gotten to know the real NYC, just mainly the touristy NYC, so my next trip will be an effort to discover what that's really like, I hope.
