Eddie Adams Multimedia

The multimedia stories from the Eddie Adams Workshop are up on the web, ready to be watched. Just click on the image above and remember, they all have audio, so turn up your speakers or headphones! My story is Brown2, the last one on the list. I must say again what an inspiring and humbling experience it was to sit for those few days into the wee hours of each morning working with such an incredibly talented group of people.

elections

I thought I would share a little of the election coverage I did the other week, even though this is coming a bit delayed. The adrenaline junkie that I am most enjoyed fighting the rest of the media mob at the polling place of Virginia's new senator, Jim Webb. I also got some general voting photos.

Check it out! But first, a report: I recently went to see CIRQUE DU SOLEIL!!! And I think my mouth was gaping wide open for the whole performance. I kept thinking, "What could they possibly pull out next?" I highly recommend dishing out the 70 or so bucks to see firsthand this magical show. But of course, being so inspired, the next day I searched the web for ways I can become such an acrobat. Brad tells me I'm past my prime, but I thought I would research anyway. Apart from the general website for Cirque du Soleil, which does give a considerable amount of information about how to do this, I also found an article called "SoYouWanna Join the Circus", which is a read that I recommend for anyone interested in this endeavor.

new post.com work

Above you'll see the flattened version of 360 pano I did for a project I recently worked on with some other people about a growing part of Arlington, VA, called Clarendon. If you go to this link you will find a map of the area. The buttons for panoramas and videos were all done by me. This was my first attempt at video (as in first ever), so it's certainly nothing to brag about, but I think the project as a whole is a nice piece.I also worked on a gardening tutorial, which was broken up into a couple of parts. The first part, which is about planting trees and shrubs, can be found here. The second part, about planting bulbs, is set to be published tomorrow on the site, which can found on the Camera Works (photos & video) front as well as on the Home and Garden page under the Arts and Living section.

Clarendon as a fish bowl
